Delaware State Police are continuing to investigate what they described as a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that occurred earlier this month near Felton. Officials said on August 1, 2025, at approximately 9:19 p.m., troopers responded to Sandtown Road, just east of John Hurd Road, after a Ford Transit van struck a pedestrian walking in the westbound lane.
