During August 2026, the Defense Forces destroyed more than 4,600 air targets. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 4, Gazeta.ua reports. “The aviation of the Air Forces during August carried out more than 1900 aircraft flights, in particular: more than 1400 - for fighter air cover; about 300 - for fire damage and air support of troops,” the statement said.
