Mukran/Stralsund (dpa) – The federal multi-purpose ship "Neuwerk" has to be repaired to Cuxhaven on the North Sea coast. On Tuesday the ship will leave Rostock with reduced performance, a spokesman of the Waterway and Shipping Office (WSA) in Stralsund informed on demand. In the port of Rostock special technicians are currently looking at the defective "new plant". Since the multi-purpose ship cannot keep the channel to the LNG terminal in Mukran free, there will be replacement by another multi-purpose ship.
