Decommissioning of the Soundproofing Wall at the Airport Ring Near Kelsterbach

For more than 50 years, it has shaped the image at the airport ring: the imposing, 15-metre-high soundproofing wall, which bends slightly towards the road. Now, the approximately 2.9-kilometre-long structure of reinforced concrete is history, is gradually rebuilt into three main construction sections and replaced by a new noiseproofing wall.
