The decision on the minimum wage for 2026, which was set by Minister of Labor Luka Mesec at 1,481.88 euros gross, will be published in the Official Gazette on Friday, the ministry announced. The net amount for a single person without children and special benefits will be 1,000 euros. Trade unions welcomed the increase in the minimum wage, while employers are against it.
