Debates persist online as Crestwood Park begins native habitat restoration

On July 16, work began at Crestwood Park to transform seven acres of parkland into a “thriving prairie, woodland and rain garden habitat.” Contractors have already begun applying herbicide to remove turf north of Mulberry Creek; some paths and disc golf holes are closed during the treatment.
