- The widespread flooding resulted from heavy monsoon rains and shifting weather patterns exacerbated by climate change, with rainfall lower than usual in southern Pakistan.
- The National Disaster Management Authority has responded with 223 rescue missions, helping evacuate 2,880 people, distributing 13,466 relief supplies, and setting up dozens of medical facilities where 577 individuals have received treatment to date.
- The damage includes 1,676 houses affected, with 562 completely destroyed, and the deaths of 428 animals, further worsening the situation across several regions.
