"The pain is still there": an olive tree planted in homage to Shemseddine, beaten to death in Viry-Chatillon

The 15-year-old died on April 5th of his wounds. A year later, the municipality and relatives of the boy found themselves at the Eric Durand Stadium where a tree and a plaque were installed in his memory.
