Seven years after the death of attacker Emiliano Sala in an aircraft accident, the Nantes Commercial Court is expected to render its decision on Monday 30 March in the financial dispute between Cardiff City and FC Nantes. Welsh club claims damages, accusing Nantes and agent Willie McKay of having been involved in the fatal theft.
The Cardiff City Football Club appealed to the Nantes Commercial Court in 2023 to claim compensation for loss of income and other damage suffered by the club as a result of the player's death, which had disappeared in a plane accident in January 2019.
