The Statesboro Police Department has launched a death investigation after a man was discovered on the railroad tracks in downtown Statesboro on Tuesday afternoon.

Investigation Underway After Woman Found Deceased

One woman was found deceased following a welfare check in Horry County. The welfare check was conducted at a home along Greens Boulevard in Myrtle Beach on July 21. 33-year-old Jeneil Leon was found dead with a gunshot wound. She was originally from Jamaica.
