The "Battle of Las Carreras" Military Academy reported this Sunday the death of first-year National Police cadet José Miguel López Hernández, following an incident in the swimming pool area of the military institution, located in San Isidro, Santo Domingo East. According to a preliminary report, the incident occurred around 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, while a military training exercise involving cadets and midshipmen was taking place near the pool.
