Officer Involved Shooting Investigation

On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at approximately 3:54 p.m., Oregon State Police and the Newport Police Department conducted a follow-up investigation that culminated in the use of deadly physical force near the 1500 block of the Siletz River Highway.
