The President-elect of Colombia, Abelardo De la Espriella, announced this Wednesday that academic Omar Bula Escobar will be the Foreign Minister of his government when he takes office on August 7.
Escobar has held several positions in the United Nations World Food Programme, and has over 20 years of experience in humanitarian service and crisis management in war, hunger and conflict scenarios.
