- Director Yasuhiro Aoki and producer Jim Krieg are leading Joker: Laugh Riot, DC Studios' first anime series, which follows the Joker on a 'ruthless crusade through Gotham' after Batman is murdered.
- Writer Scott Snyder and artist Nick Dragotta are adapting their best-selling Absolute Batman comic series, reimagining the Dark Knight as a working-class hero up against impossible odds.
- Executive produced by C.H. Greenblatt, the untitled Krypto series depicts the super-dog as a 'ball of destructive, lovable energy' who tags along with misfit criminal wannabes down the block.
- While Joker: Laugh Riot is currently in production, Absolute Batman and Krypto remain in development without network homes, as DC Studios Co-Chairman Peter Safran and Warner Bros. Animation President Sam Register unveiled the slate.
