According to Qantas, industry circles are negotiating with Airbus and Boeing for the purchase of around 20 large-scale aircraft. Other Boeing 787 or the Airbus A350-900 are in discussion – while the first Airbus A350-1000 ULR for "Project Sunrise" has also completed its first flight.

The name ULR, or Ultra Long Range, is certainly not an exaggeration when talking about the new variant of the A350.
