BOISE — The sun shone bright on Wednesday afternoon while veterans, military service members and civilians gathered together to remember military members killed in action.

More than family barbecues and a day at the beach, Memorial Day is first and foremost a day of remembrance dedicated to those who have lost their lives serving in the U.S. military.

Acknowledging those who gave everything

This week we take time to note, with gratitude and sorrow, those with Ozark County ties whose lives ended while they were serving in the military during wartime.
