The US Dax, currently 12th in Pro D2, was sanctioned by 9 points by the disciplinary board of the French rugby for "anomaly" in its accounts.
The Irish club won a nine-point draw and three with a suspension, while its Basque neighbour saw two points and four with a suspension. The USD slides to 14th place in the championship, the Irish club's second-place finish was the second-place finish.
On Monday 15 December, the National Rugby League issued sanctions against three clubs of Pro D2, Dax, Béziers and Biarritz. The sanctions necessarily do the business of the US Carcassonne.
Biarritz Olympique has been penalized with a two-point deduction in the ProD2 standings, the second tier of rugby.
