The doctor's resignation was announced by Anna Auksel-Sekutowicz, vice-chairwoman of the Civic Coalition (KO) councilors' club in the Warsaw City Council. Earlier, Dawid Kacprzyk left the Civic Coalition (KO) and was fired from Warsaw's Southern Hospital. He also returned half a million to the hospital.
Due to the scandal at the Southern Hospital, Dawid Kacprzyk resigned from his mandate as a councilor of the Ursus district.

Dawid Kacprzyk has resigned in writing from his mandate as a councilor in the Warsaw district of Ursus, the chairman of the council announced. Submitting his resignation is equivalent to initiating the procedure to determine the expiry of his mandate, the local office stated. In turn, Warsaw City Hall announced that Kacprzyk has returned some of the money paid to the hospital.
