OLD DAVIS, UTAH- The Davis County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide on Saturday in the 2000 West and 200 North area at West Point. According to the police report, at approximately 6:25 p.m. on Saturday, the officers responded to a shooting report. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found a deceased 71-year-old man, identified as James Witten, on the outside porch of the residence, the police statement said.
