The Minister of Transport and Investment announced on Monday that Hungary has met all required milestones, allowing it to draw on all available funds under the previously reached agreement with the European Commission. In the meantime, the government is re-establishing the Council for Public Development in the Capital.
The government has fulfilled its obligation to enact legislation necessary to bring EU funds home, but now the real work begins, the Minister of Transport and Investment announced on his Facebook page on Monday, where he also outlined the most important expected developments.
According to Minister of Transport and Investment Dávid Vitézy, previously frozen resources from the European Union recovery fund have been released and brought to Hungary, from which, among other things, railway, housing, water and energy developments will be implemented in the coming period.
