The Los Angeles Dodgers made a late lineup change on Wednesday before their game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Shohei Ohtani, who was supposed to start the game, played only as a designated hitter.
In fact, the Los Angeles Dodgers had planned to use Superstar Shohei Ohtani against the Pittsburgh Pirates as a starting pitcher on Wednesday night. But in the short term, the Japanese had to fit, only appeared as Designated Hitter. Manager Dave Roberts explained the short-term change afterwards.
