Dave Mason, Traffic Co-Founder and Songwriter, Dies at 79

  • Mason co-founded Traffic in 1967, writing the soulful "Feelin' Alright," which became a signature track. He briefly left and rejoined before launching a solo career in the United States.
  • Throughout his career, Mason collaborated with Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney, and the Rolling Stones. His 1977 ballad "We Just Disagree" peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming a major solo hit.
