Funeral Held for Teenage Daughter of NYC Rabbi Killed in Watercraft Accident in Florida

- On Friday, the family traveled from New York to Florida for a guided tour with three personal watercraft, as officials investigate the cause.
- Following the collision, Yonah Nisanov said, 'They were coming back to the dock from what I understand, and they lost control and they hit the dock, and they both went flying and hit the dock,' and both teens were rushed to Broward Health Medical Center.
- In the aftermath, Fort Lauderdale Police and the FWC are investigating the cause, with Aviva Bracha Nisanov in critical but stable condition following surgery.
- The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission issued nearly 500 violation citations statewide, and Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties recorded 42 personal watercraft accidents in 2024.
