TNA Re-Signs Former WWE Wrestler
TNA said Rae is a key part of iMPACT after recent roster turnover, and she confirmed a six-month deal on Busted Open Radio.
TNA Wrestling confirmed Thursday that Director of Operations Daria Rae has re-signed with the company on a six-month deal. The former WWE star, known as Sonya Deville, solidifies her role on TNA Thursday Night.
Rae, who left WWE after 10 years in February 2025, debuted as an authority figure in January and frequently clashes with TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella. Her role signals continuity despite recent roster departures.
Her extension follows recent agreements with Trey Miguel, Tasha Steele, Allie, and former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Rich Swann, all of whom have also committed to the company. This contrasts with departures by Eric Young and others.
TNA recently announced two major live events at Temple University in Philadelphia on July 30 and 31, while preparing for the Lockdown pay-per-view on August 23 in Chicago. Rae's retention strengthens the roster for these events.
Rae previously praised TNA's "more passion, heart, soul and pure talent" than elsewhere in sports entertainment, a commitment now underscored by her continued presence amid the company's recent "workforce reduction." Her stability signals confidence in TNA's direction.
