'Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery' to Open BFI Film Festival
GREATER LONDON, ENGLAND, OCT 8 – Wake Up Dead Man, the third Knives Out film, premieres with an acclaimed ensemble cast and marks Daniel Craig’s return as detective Benoit Blanc ahead of its December Netflix release.
- This morning, BFI London Film Festival and Netflix announced that 'Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery' will open the festival at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, on October 8.
- After Knives Out’s gala launch and Glass Onion’s closing at LFF, the franchise’s success led Netflix to secure sequel rights in 2021, as festival history shows.
- Daniel Craig returns in his role of famed private detective Benoit Blanc for his most dangerous case yet, joined by Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Haden Church.
