Dan Thompson, a 21 year-old-man who has Down’s syndrome, has achieved a black belt in Tang Soo Do. We spoke with Dan’s dad, Paul, about this amazing award and how Dan feels about it.   Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art, based on karate.   The North Manchester Family Martial Arts Centre obtained funding to establish a Down’s syndrome group to learn Tang Soo Do.
