In the women's under 78 kg category, Zo Hajaniaina Andriambololona won the gold medal. She beat Senegal's Yacine Diatta in group phase to reach the semifinals, then won against Morocco's Malak Lakhal. In the final, she dominated Algeria's Lydia Kechout. The second break is a silver medal, won by Dylan Andrianjafitsalama. The diaspora judoka was involved in the under 55 kg category, among the cadets.
