Dabrowski, Stefani Advance to Women's Doubles Third Round at Wimbledon
The second-seeded pair converted 3 of 11 break points and won in 1 hour 32 minutes.
On Saturday, Ottawa's Gabriela Dabrowski and partner Luisa Stefani of Brazil advanced to the Wimbledon women's doubles third round in London.
The second-seeded pair defeated Americans Caroline Dolehide and Alycia Parks 6-4, 6-2 during second-round action at the grass-court Grand Slam.
Dabrowski and Stefani converted three of 11 breakpoint opportunities while fending off three chances from their opponents, securing the victory in one hour 32 minutes.
The pair will next face 14th seeds Storm Hunter of Australia and Caty McNally of the United States in the third round.
Elsewhere, Leylah Fernandez of Laval, Que., and partner Joe Salisbury of Britain advanced to the mixed doubles second round, defeating Julian Cash and Demi Schuurs of the Netherlands 7-6 , 6-4.
