Da Nang to Target Luxury Tourism From Dubai's Elite
- Emirates has commenced direct flights connecting Dubai with Vietnam’s central coastal city of Da Nang, beginning operations in 2025.
- This launch follows Da Nang's strategic effort to tap into the fast-growing Middle Eastern tourism market and embrace Halal tourism to welcome Muslim travelers.
- By May 2025, Da Nang offered approximately 1,290 lodging options, featuring 111 upscale hotels rated four and five stars, along with nearly 30 restaurants serving Halal-certified cuisine to accommodate incoming tourists.
- Deputy CEO Nguyen Vu Quynh Anh emphasized that delivering sophisticated services rooted in cultural insight is key to satisfying the expectations of discerning travelers, while tourism director Truong Thi Hong Hanh described the new route as an important driver for the expansion of tourism.
