DA: Former Easton school resource officer pleads guilty to corruption of minors

A former Palmer Township police officer and Easton High School resource officer has pleaded guilty to corruption of minors after allegedly sending sexually explicit material to an underage student, according to the Northampton County District Attorney.

A Palmer Township cop assigned to Easton Area High School has pleaded guilty to a corruption of minors charge after sending an underage pupil a sexually explicit image of himself.

John Smoke was accused of sending sexually explicit images to an underage student. According to prosecutors, Smoke pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of corruption of minors.
