The costs of Czech employers per worker are rising. Last year, they averaged almost 489 crowns per hour, 34 crowns more than the year before and more than 210 crowns more than ten years ago. Nevertheless, the Czech Republic is among the cheaper in European comparisons – according to Eurostat, the average for EU countries last year exceeded 862 crowns per hour, while Czech figures are significantly below it.
