The Czech Republic has so far acquired from Germany three tranches of [42 Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks](https://defence24.pl/sily-zbrojne/czechy-kupily-dodatkowe-leopardy-2) along with two Bergepanzer 3 armored recovery vehicles, the delivery of which is scheduled for completion in 2026. All of them will go to the 73rd Tank Battalion from Práslavice, part of the 7th Mechanized Brigade with headquarters in Hranice.
