If you want, that's how it goes in Czech-Slovak relations. And so much so that it even overshadows events such as Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico's trip to Moscow for the May celebrations with Vladimir Putin. This was demonstrated in Topolčianky, the former summer residence of President Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, by Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský and his Slovak host Juraj Blanár.

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský travelled to Bratislava on Monday to stabilize Czech-Slovak relations, which have deteriorated in recent months due to foreign policy differences and escalating political tensions.

Topolčianky - The co-founders of Czechoslovakia, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and Milan Rastislav Štefánik, showed that even in uncertain times it is possible to hold fast to one's values. Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský said this at the opening of a discussion forum of Czech and Slovak academics and historians during his visit to Slovakia.
