FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Hourly labor costs rose by 5.6% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, according to preliminary data from the Statistical Service. This increase reflects growth in both key components: wages and salaries per hour worked, which climbed by 5.3%, and non-wage costs per hour worked, which surged by 7.0%.
