Cyclones start season strong in Husker Invitational

LINCOLN, Neb. — Iowa State tennis had a great weekend in Lincoln, Neb. The team went a combined 5-1 in doubles and 7-5 in singles.  Day one Millie Day, who transferred from Idaho State, was a standout player for the Cyclones Friday. In her singles match, Day came back from down a set to defeat Kansas’s Hyejeong Ahn 5-7, 6-2, 7-5.
