Možjanca will be a key part of the route of the October test, which will start in Ljubljana and end in Šenčur.
Slovenia will host the European Road Cycling Championships in early October. Preparations are intensifying, and organizers presented the route today in Ljubljana. Its central part will run around Šenčur and Preddvor, with climbs to Možjanca and Štefanja Gora. It will also take cyclists past Tadej Pogačar's home.
The official presentation of the 2026 European Road Cycling Championships, hosted by Slovenia, will begin at 11 a.m. in the Hall of Estates at Ljubljana Castle. The central circuit, with a climb over Možjanka (2.1 km/10.2%), is hosted by the municipality of Šenčur.
Slovenia will host the European Road Cycling Championships from 2 to 7 October. The participation of Tadej Pogacar is already confirmed. The organisation unveiled the race routes this Monday.
