The 49th Tour of the Alps began today with a 144-kilometer stage starting and finishing in Innsbruck. The victory in the sprint finish was won by the Italian Tommaso Dati (UKYO), while the second place went to the British Tom Pidcock (Q36.5), who successfully returned to competition after a fall at the March Tour of Catalonia. The Slovenian colors are represented by Jakob Omrzel and Roman Jermakov (Bahrain - Victorious).
