The Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate has seen a sudden increase in cybercrime cases. While previously an average of eight cases were registered per month, 10 cases have been reported in the first five days of September alone. This increase is due to changes in the complaint filing process and e-Zero FIRs on the NCRP portal.
