Customs seizes €90,000 in counterfeit cash, warns public

Finnish Customs has launched a preliminary investigation into an aggravated money counterfeiting case after seizing over €90,000 in suspected counterfeit banknotes. The investigation began in week 7 when customs officers intercepted an express courier parcel from Italy containing €60,000 in €200 banknotes. A technical examination suggested the notes were counterfeit.
