CT Republican Leaders Condemn State Investigation Into 2025 Police Deadly Force Incident

In a statement, three Republican leaders from the state House of Representatives, Minority Leader Vincent Candelora of North Branford, Greg Howard of Stonington and Tammy Nuccio of Tolland criticized the decision to investigate the incident. Howard is a police officer and House ranking member of the Public Safety and Security Committee. Nuccio is ranking member of the Appropriations Committee and the mother of a Connecticut state trooper.
