Berlin – This colourful parade defied the grey sky: On Saturday lunchtime, Christopher Street Day (CSD) started in the middle of the year.
400 were registered, but only 30 to 50 came: According to the police, only a few people appeared at a CSD counter-conference in Berlin. However, the applicants and other participants were arrested.
The motto of this year's CSD is: "Never quiet again". It is accompanied by protests against Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
The LGBTIQA community has made a lot of progress in campaigning loudly for their rights. It's perfidious now to call on them to moderation. It's good that CSD demos are opposed.
