- Shipped to distributors in California, Idaho and Oregon, FSIS classified the recall as Class I and warned foodservice locations to toss or return the products; no illnesses confirmed.
- The CDC lists symptoms including fever, vomiting and often-bloody diarrhea, and FSIS urged cooking ground beef to 160°F and contacting a healthcare provider if concerned.
