Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 Unveils First Teaser Trailer Ahead of January 2026 Release
LOS ANGELES, JUL 4 – Crunchyroll announced worldwide streaming rights excluding Asia with a simulcast from Japan in January 2026 following the critical success of Season 1, winner of four Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
- On July 4, 2025, at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Crunchyroll unveiled the first teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of Frieren, the sequel series to Beyond Journey's End.
- In September 2024, Season Two was confirmed, with its debut scheduled for January 2026 on Nippon TV and global streaming rights secured by Crunchyroll.
- Season 2 will be directed by Tomoya Kitagawa with Keiichiro Saito supervising, and it will continue adapting the manga beginning from chapter 61.
