For the loved ones of Misha Pavelick, by the time the trial for his now-convicted killer began, the 19-year-old had been gone as long as he had been alive. Pavelick was stabbed during a party at the Kinookimaw campground near Regina Beach, Sask., on May 21, 2006. No arrest was made until 2023.
