Police Watchdog Recommends Charges Against Officer in Deadly Revelstoke Shooting
- On August 27, 2023, a Revelstoke RCMP officer approached Garry Pashe Jr., who was driving a reportedly stolen vehicle on Victoria Road East, leading to a police-involved shooting incident.
- The Independent Investigations Office was notified within 20 minutes and began investigating the interaction to determine police actions and what occurred during the shooting.
