At the peak of the summer season, the Dalmacija ferry, considered the largest in the fleet of the state-owned shipping company Jadrolinija, broke down. Due to a serious engine failure, the ferry will not operate for an extended period of time, and as a result, all ferry lines between Croatia and Italy have been canceled until further notice, reports tportal.
It is the largest ship in the fleet, with a capacity of 1,800 people and 350 cars, built in 1993 in Norway and renovated in 2014 for around 30 million euros.
The repair could take some time.
