Cuban television host Cristina Saralegui's decision to support Julio Iglesias amid sexual abuse investigations filed by two of his former employees revived outrage over the so-called "queen of Spanish-language television in the United States," which was perceived as support for former Menudo manager Edgardo Diaz.
The alleged abuses occurred in 2021, in the artist's mansions in the Dominican Republic and in the Bahamas.
