New 'Crimson Desert' Patch Fixes Storage, Combat, Controls ...
Patch 1.00.03 adds private storage, improves controls and boss fights, and fixes bugs following player feedback after selling 2 million copies in one day, Pearl Abyss said.
- Patch 1.00.03 launched on Steam and PlayStation, with plans to arrive later on Xbox, Epic Games Store, and Mac App Store, Pearl Abyss said.
- Responding to player feedback, Pearl Abyss said it prepared fixes from issue reports, videos, livestreams and community discussions while launching an asset audit after criticism over generative-AI images.
- In gameplay, Pearl Abyss added private storage at Howling Hill Camp, more Abyss Nexus fast-travel points throughout Pywel, and keyboard-and-mouse shortcuts for inventory, skills, journal, and map.
- Developers reduced boss difficulty by cutting HP and attack power, lowering stamina cost of blocking, and boosting stun gauge on successful parries.
- Given Crimson Desert's scale, Pearl Abyss said it will keep improving controller and keyboard/mouse controls and add updated assets in upcoming patches after reaching nearly 250,000 concurrent players and selling two million copies.
