₹1L bounty gangster linked to Kairana exodus shot dead in Shamli encounter
Shamli superintendent of police Narendra Pratap Singh said Furqan, aged around 50 years, was killed after allegedly opening fire on the police team. He said the gangster was wanted in several serious criminal cases, including murder, robbery and extortion, and carried a reward of ₹1 lakh on his arrest.
Furkan, a criminal carrying a reward of ₹1 lakh, was killed in a police encounter in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. According to police, he had several serious cases registered against him. A police officer was also injured during the operation. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further legal action is underway.
