Global crackdown on illicit pharmaceuticals sees $15.5 million in seizures
Interpol said on Thursday an operation across 90 countries and territories has resulted in the seizure of 6.42 million doses of unapproved and counterfeit pharmaceuticals worth $15.5 million.
In the course of an internationally coordinated action, facilitators have confiscated counterfeit drugs worth around 13 million euros.

Interpol says nearly 270 people suspected of drug trafficking have been arrested and 66 criminal groups dismantled following a major international police operation spanning 90 countries.
Investigators have found large amounts of illegal drugs during international raids, most of which were confiscated by Interpol in the UK and Colombia.
